Character Classes to Attend

Here is a chart for Characters to see what classes they need to attend.  Not all teachers have choreographed them into dances so they should try to ask the teacher first if possible.  If they are in their own class at the same time they need to talk to both teachers to see if they can work it out.  If this is a real problem or conflict, please email me and I will try to help resolve it.

I also wanted to welcome our newest Cast Members! Playing the parts of “Little Alice” will be Sloane and Scarlett Johnson, twins that dance in the younger classes at the studio.

I look forward to being in town and working with the Casts this coming weekend and up until the show!

Rehearsal Information

REHEARSAL EXPECTATIONS:

-Be flexible with the process: Below is an outline of rehearsal times and dates.  It is my best guess as to what will be needed without having worked with the Cast. This will be posted on the website and will be adjusted each week as needed.  It will be the same kind of format as the Nutcracker as far as how rehearsals will be handled.

-Attendance will be taken at required rehearsals, but if attendance becomes problematic for a cast member being prepared to go on stage it will be addressed.  Cast membership is based on being able to attend rehearsals and making the success of the Show a priority.

Some More Notes:

Again, as we progress and discover what scenes and Characters need the most work, I will be posting updated rehearsal schedules online that address the needs of the Cast.  Please check the online schedule before coming to the studio for rehearsals in case there has been a change.

If some Characters or scenes need special attention, I will arrange privately to meet with those dancers as needed and work around their schedule.  My undivided attention will be devoted to the Recital, and I am confident we will all enjoy the process and our audience will enjoy the performance! If you have any questions or concerns regarding Character/Ensemble rehearsals you can email me directly at kim@parkerdance.com

My sincere gratitude ahead of time for supporting your dancer in this acting/dancing journey,

Ms Kim
